  • How do I place my order?

Ordering online from afrilege.com is easy! When viewing an item, simply select the size, color and quantity needed and then click ‘ADD TO CART’. Once you have your desired items in your Cart, simply click the ‘CHECK OUT’ button. Next, enter any discount coupon codes or Points that you may want to use to discount the price. Finally, you will be directed to complete the Shipping address, shipping method, and payment method. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address containing the contents of your order!

  • How long does it take to ship out my order and how long does delivery take?

We typically ship out all orders within 1-2 business days. Delivery date depends on your location and shipping method. At most, it can take 3-5 business days within the U.S and 1-4 weeks outside the U.S. For more info, please visit our Shipping Info page.

  • How do I know what size to choose?

To choose the correct size for you, please measure your body before placing your order. Then choose the corresponding size in our Size Chart.

  • Are you True to size?

We follow the US size chart but because Ankara does not stretch, it's preferable to go a size up from your normal size.

  • Can I cancel/make changes to the order I just placed?

We process orders very quickly, so changes and cancellations cannot always be fulfilled. It is only possible to make a change to your order within 1 hour of placing it and if the order has not been processed.  You must immediately contact our Customer Care team (within the hour) with your change/cancellation request details included. You are strongly advised to use our Message Us service.

  • I would like to return my order.

Please send us an email at info@afrilege.com. We allow the return and exchange of unworn and unwashed items if we receive them within 14 days after it was delivered to you. For additional details on returns and exchanges, visit our RETURNS & EXCHANGES page.

  • My order arrived incomplete or damaged.

Please take a deep breath and accept our apologies. We are really sorry for our mistakes. Please send us an email with your order number and how we can help out.

  • Do bottoms (pants, skirts, etc. ) come with the tops as in the photos?

We generally do not sell the tops with the bottoms. That is because, for many people, tops sizes are different from bottoms sizes. However, we carry matching sets which are sold separately.

  • Do you do custom orders?

We do not currently do custom orders. We currently only sell ready-made clothing listed on our website.

  • Are my privacy and personal information secure on your site?

Shopping on our site is safe and secure. We work hard to protect your privacy and personal information.

  • Do you restock sold out items?

Because some of our items are unique pieces, we cannot restock the exact pieces when they are sold out. However, we are always updating our inventory with new styles and occasionally restocking sold out items. Please contact us at info@afrilege.com if you are interested in a sold out item and would like to know whether or not it will be restocked.

  • I want to contact you but I do not speak English ( je veux vous contacter mais je ne parle pas Francais).

Our customer service is in both English and French. We will reply to you in the language that you wrote with.

  • How quickly do you respond to emails? Do you have weekend hours?

We generally respond within 24 hrs during our regular office hours which are Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm EST. Customer Service is currently not available on Saturdays and Sundays. Please visit our Contact us page.

  • I received my item and there seems to be a dark mark or stickiness on the fabric, what is this?

We apologize in the case that you may receive an item with a sticker patch. African Print fabrics are sold with seals from the manufacturer, which show their authenticity. We work our hardest to remove them before shipping out our items. However, occasionally they cannot be completely removed without washing, so you may see the mark from the sticker on your item. They are not permanent and will come out.
